As part of the government’s “Impulse for the Economy” programme, the Ministry of Development is preparing a new housing package. The package will comprise two parts – social and commercial. Its implementation is planned for early autumn this year. The social part of the package includes rent subsidies for private and municipal tenants, whose income has dropped by 25 percent. The commercial part includes such solutions as the possibility of settling the costs of purchasing land for housing premises by the developer through transferring part of the apartments to the municipality, and the possibility of obtaining a tax deduction when purchasing the first apartment for young people and families with many children.
