From 20 May 2020 aromatized cigarettes and cigarettes containing flavored ball are banned in the European Union. The new provisions are introduced by Directive 2014//40/UE of the European Parliament and the Council. Under the Directive an obligation to affix appropriate warnings on tobacco packages as well as safety and quality requirements for e-cigarettes are set.
